Sri Aurobindo House

In 1985 the Yogaschule Sri Aurobindo acquired a former farm-house in the mountains of the Rothaargebirge.
The house was restored and extended mostly in self-work.
It is equipped with a large meditation room, a reading room and several rooms for guests, a kitchen and a dining room. The house is surrounded by a large garden.

Currently three permanent residents take care of the house and the garden and offer yoga classes.

Sri Aurobindo House is an experiment in spiritual life. It offers to commit oneself more intensively to the Integral Yoga and to practise it in daily life.
Regular meditation, introduced by reading out texts of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, and collective work are part of the daily routine.

Visitors are always welcome. They can take part in all activities in the house, workshop and garden or simply relax and enjoy walks in the nearby forests.
