Hatha-Yoga

Since 1970 Padmakar Mirajkar has been teaching courses in Hatha Yoga
for
beginners and advanced students.
Hatha Yoga is concerned with training the eleasticity and flexibility
of the body to
maintain and increase the bodily health. It generally strengthens and
activates vitality.
The excercises train the power of concentration and calm down the
mental activity. These are important preconditions for spiritual
progress.
The cycle of excercises is purposely kept
simple. It comprises no complicated postures that could not be done by
beginners.
After about one hour of concentrated practice Padmakar Mirajkar
prepares
the course participants for a short meditation. In the beginners'
courses this is done by short explanations on yoga practice, in the
courses for advanced students by reading out from the works of Sri
Aurobindo and
The Mother.
After the lessons Padmakar Mirajkar is
available for the questions of the course participants.
